Once upon a time, I had vivid, Alice-in-Wonderland-style, off-the-wall dreams nearly every night. One of my best friends jokingly would start our morning conversations with what insane planet were you on last night? Over a year ago, I started doing a lot of meditation and channeling while awake and basically stopped dreaming for a while. Recently my dreams have started back and they are insanely vivid, even more so than usual for me. Last April, I had surgery and when I was in recovery one of my spirit guides revealed herself to me.
A little background: A few nights before, a soul guide intuitive answered a question for me- I asked about missing my mission or purpose in life, because I felt like I had been sent back several times because I had something unfinished. She told me that I already knew what it was and the guides said that I should look left. (Which would have been great advice except I was moving furniture when she was reading me and I didn’t get the email until hours later.) So she told me that my guides would answer me if I asked for clarity. I did some meditation and free writing. My answer was “The money will come and wait for the dream.”
This morning I had knee surgery. When I was in recovery coming out of the fog, one of guides appeared to me, first time ever. She was a small, round woman wearing an cheerful orange dress within flowers on the hem. Her hair was silvery white and bobbed. She talked to me for a while, while we put wallpaper on cats. (Yes!)The cats didn’t like glue but they loved showing their personalities through their custom designs. The conversation was deep and feels like it has made some huge subconscious shifts, calming ones. I was very sure it was real and after I had come totally up the anesthesiologist came in to remove the EEG from my head. (Some people in my family have anesthesia trouble so they were being extra careful.) He said I have never seen an EEG with such an active Alpha state during a surgery. Then he laughed and said that he rarely did EEGs but all the same.
I dreamed that I lived on a quiet street, in a two story, bungalow style house, complete with a thatch roof. It had a screened in porch and a light blue kitchen. The master bedroom upstairs was open and airy, with slide away walls.
Across the street diagonally lived a single man and we started seeing each other after a brief period. We exchanged keys and saw each other quite a bit. Very comfortably, simply reading or being in each other’s presence was relaxing and fun.
We were a little hesitant to sleep together for fear of rushing things. But often found that it was late at night before one of us was going home.
One morning at around 1 A.M. as he left my house, my neighbor popped his head at the door and fussed saying the porch light was annoying every night. I asked him if he had window shades and why it mattered since their bedrooms were on the far side of the house? I tried not to be upset, mad or rattled by him, but I was disappointed that the peaceful feeling was broken now.
Later that night, or perhaps the next night, my boyfriend let himself into the house and snuggled into my bed. The same neighbor fussed in the morning that my boyfriend had left his porch light on all night after he had walked across the street. The boyfriend told the neighbor to shove off and left his light on all the time.
(Interesting to note, that it was only my boyfriend and I in the house. I have a daughter and cats and they didn’t seem to be around at least not during the active portions of the dreams. I do note also that the inside of the bungalow was spotless. I’m not a very great housekeeper but the lack of little kid’s stuff and cat toys/food/litter made it easier to keep clean.)
In this dream, I was more of an observer than actually a participant I believe. I felt like I could “float” from room to room, like I was on the end of a boom camera, making super smooth transitions.
It was a different time period. One were flues were still used for heat.
A scampy little boy is walking home from school and all the other school boys are being cruel to him. He’s dirty and the whole dream was very dark, like it was always a cloudy, winter day. He was also dressed in heavy clothing.
One evening, his mother and father come home, through the back door, to find someone has kicked in a panel of their front door. A man and his son are outside and when they open the door to inquire the man says something nasty about their son.
As the father goes upstairs to check the house and for the little boy, the mother stands at the front door and stands her ground. She said to the man outside, “If anyone is found in our house, I will kill him.” She grabbed him by the coat collars and told him, “What my son is going through is insane. Will you look at your son?! He can’t even play outside because they harass him so badly. He just wants to play baseball!”
The man, with dirty blonde hair, and a tall, black hat, that once was dressy but is now just worn, started to tear up and pulls the mother to him as she continues to hysterically rant.
The father comes down the stairs and is concerned because he can’t immediately figure out why the man has ahold of his wife. He seems to trust her completely and is just worried about her safety. No one else was in the house and the little boy is fine.
The man says something to his son about being a liar. I can see out the open front door and the sky is still dreary.
When I woke up from this dream, my blood pressure was up and I was apprehensive, like I had really just been in the room with a fight.
